Background
Cuyahoga County’s Office of Early Childhood is seeking a location to host the 2026 Invest in Children (IIC) Annual Conference.
The goal of this contract is to secure a venue that can accommodate a large gathering for the conference, which aims to support early childhood initiatives within the community.
Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services and arrangements for the conference:
- Host Location: A venue that can seat at least 300 participants in a large ballroom with round tables.

- Room Requirements: Large ballroom available from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with table linens and water service; smaller breakout room for up to 40 people from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Parking: Onsite self-parking is required; free parking is preferred.

The conference will take place in Quarter 2 or 3 of 2026, with specific date ranges provided for venue availability from May 18th to June 19th and September 14th to October 30th.

Bidder Requirements
The contractor must maintain various insurance coverages including Worker’s Compensation Insurance as required by Ohio law, Commercial General Liability Insurance with specified limits, Business Automobile Liability Insurance, and Umbrella/Excess Liability Insurance.
The contractor must also name Cuyahoga County as additional insured on all policies and provide proof of insurance coverage.
