Residence Hall Mattresses

Work Requested:
Buffalo State University is seeking proposals for the supply and installation of 416 units of 4A Extra Plush Mattresses. The mattresses must feature inverted seam technology and be constructed with denier navy blue nylon. Each mattress should measure 33.5" x 80".

The scope of work includes:

• Inside delivery of all mattresses directly into dorm rooms at Bengal Hall
• Placement of each mattress on the beds
• Removal and recycling of old mattresses

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by Buffalo State University, a part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system.

Background:
This procurement is being made under Buffalo State University's discretionary authority in accordance with NYS Education Law 355 (5) (a). No sealed bid process will be conducted for this contract. There have been no business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract for this requirement within the past five years.

Contract Requirements:

• Provide 416 mattresses, each 33.5" x 80", extra plush, sewn with inverted seam technology, and covered in denier navy blue nylon
• Deliver mattresses inside Bengal Hall dorm rooms and place them on beds
• Remove and recycle existing mattresses
