Proposed Sole Source To Develop A Mobile App For The Rockland County Fire And Emergency Services That Will Integrate With The Rockland County Sheriff'S Office App Already In Use Through Ocv, Llc ($29, 975.00)

The work being requested involves the development of a new mobile application for the Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services. The contractor will:

Develop an app that integrates seamlessly with the existing Rockland County Sheriff's Office app, which was previously developed by the same contractor.
Create all necessary graphics and logos for the new app.
Enable the new app to link directly with both the Sheriff's Office and the Fire and Emergency Services mobile apps, allowing for two-way connectivity.
Implement Apple Deep Link functionality to directly connect the two apps on the Apple iOS platform.
Equip the app with Alerts/Push Notifications, ensuring that alerts can be rebroadcast through both the Sheriff's and Emergency Services apps.
Provide exclusive capability for these notifications through the mobile app.

The County of Fire and Emergency Services and the Department of General Services Purchasing Division are requesting this work.

This contract is being pursued as a Sole Source award to OCV, LLC, in accordance with Rockland County Procurement Policy. The notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a request for competitive quotes.
