Alfred State College is seeking to procure a highly secure cloud-based/SaaS academic and organizational assessment, accreditation, program planning, strategic planning, and course evaluation/survey system. Work Details
The contract entails the provision of a comprehensive assessment management system with the following functionalities:
- Customizable organizational and academic assessment planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Capability to generate and manage an unlimited number of assessments, institutional effectiveness plans, and strategic plans.
- Mapping of institutional and strategic planning across the entire structure as well as within specific schools/departments/divisions.
- Mapping of course, program, and general education learning outcomes to institutional-level student learning outcomes (ISLOs).
- Conducting both course- and program-level academic assessments.
- Tracking and measuring achievement of follow-up academic and organizational improvement actions.
- Robust curriculum mapping that visualizes program-level assessment timelines, courses mapped to student learning outcomes, and assessments used for measuring student learning in programs.
- Integration capabilities with Banner and Brightspace D2L for importing completed assessments directly from the LMS.
- Hosting historical assessment data dating back 10 years.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
- Generating program reviews using integrated assessment data and reports.
- Completing accreditation reviews for institutional (MSCHE) and various programmatic accreditation bodies (e.g., ACEN, ABET).
- Unlimited user accounts with the ability to assign larger assessment teams (10-25 members) as leads for specific areas/programs.
- Survey/course evaluation functions that integrate with Brightspace D2L including launching unlimited survey projects with customizable permissions, robust response rate tracking, automated follow-ups for non-respondents, and managing opt-outs.
