Background
The New Mexico State University (NMSU) is the state’s land-grant university, established under the Constitution of the State of New Mexico. NMSU serves the educational needs of New Mexico’s diverse population through comprehensive programs of education, research, extension education, and public service.
The NMDA Approved Supplier Program aims to establish a pool of qualified suppliers to provide consulting services related to agricultural crops and grains, foods, and farming and ranching services.
Work Details
The contract will involve providing consulting services in the following areas:
1) Agricultural crops and grains including fruits, melons, nuts, and vegetables;
2) Foods: staple grocery and grocer's miscellaneous items;
3) Farming and ranching services, animal and crop. Respondents must submit a proposal that conforms to the requirements set forth in this RFP.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue for a duration specified in the final agreement negotiated with the selected contractor.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations as required by NMSU throughout New Mexico.
Bidder Requirements
Respondents must possess a Resident Business or Native American Resident Business Certificate issued by the State of New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department. Additionally, if applicable, a Resident Veteran Business or Native American Resident Veteran Business Certificate is required. Insurance documentation (Certificate of Liability) must also be provided.
