Background
The City of Lebanon is seeking proposals for the demolition and replacement of the perimeter litter fence at the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility. This project aims to enhance waste management operations by ensuring that litter does not escape the facility, thereby supporting environmental protection efforts.
Work Details
The project involves the following tasks:
- Demolition of the existing litter fence netting system along 1,900 feet of perimeter.
- Installation of a new litter fence netting system with a height of 25 feet.
- Reuse of existing poles for support, anchored with galvanized steel screw-in or bust-out type anchors.
- Installation of one-inch mesh polypropylene heavy-duty barrier netting with a sewn-in 3/8" poly-rope border.
- Attachment of the netting to the support system using carabiners and shackles.
- Base installation includes a 24" high, 1" mesh black vinyl-coated chain-link.
- Cable components include top and bottom cables made from 3/8" galvanized steel aircraft cable, as well as horizontal rib lines and vertical supports made from 5/16" galvanized steel aircraft cable PVC-coated to 3/8".
Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence within five calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and must be completed by August 24, 2026.
