Background
Alamance Community College (ACC) is seeking audit services for its fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Work Details
The Vendor will conduct an audit of ACC's financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, ensuring compliance with GASB accounting principles and auditing standards generally accepted in the United States. The audit scope includes:
1. An audit opinion on the financial statements.
2. Compliance with standards applicable to financial audits issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
3. On-site work for planning and control testing at mutually agreed times.
4. Final on-site fieldwork to ensure timely completion of the audit by December 4, 2026.
5. Attendance at Budget and Finance Committee and Board of Trustees meetings to discuss audit results.
6. Itemization of hours used and total cost in the final report as per North Carolina General Statutes ยง 147-64.6D.
Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of one year starting from July 1, 2026, or upon final contract execution, whichever is later, with options for two additional one-year renewals.
