Background
The Cities of Lake Ozark & Osage Beach Joint Sewer Board is issuing this Invitation to Bid for the removal and replacement of the existing Smith & Loveless Pista Grit System at the Lake of the Ozarks Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant #1.
The goal of this contract is to install a new Retrofit 5th Gen PISTA-Invorsor System, which aligns with the agency's mission to maintain and improve wastewater treatment facilities.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of the existing Smith & Loveless Pista Grit System with a new Retrofit 5th Gen PISTA-Invorsor System.
Bids must be submitted using the provided Bid Forms in the Bidding Documents Package, accompanied by a certified check or bid bond amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid. A performance and payment bond will also be required from the successful bidder, along with a certificate of insurance for worker’s compensation.
Compliance with prevailing wage rates as determined by Federal Wage Determination and/or Missouri's Annual Wage Order #31 is mandatory. Additionally, all contractors or subcontractors must ensure that their on-site employees complete a ten (10) hour OSHA-approved construction safety training course within sixty (60) days of commencing work.
Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence following the bid opening on March 5, 2026, with specific timelines to be determined based on project requirements.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Lake of the Ozarks Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant #1 located at #3 Anderson Road, Lake Ozark, Missouri, 65049.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Section 285.530 RSMo regarding federal work authorization programs and provide documentation affirming their enrollment. They must also sign an affidavit confirming that they do not employ unauthorized aliens.
Additionally, bidders are required to complete OSHA-approved safety training for their on-site employees.
