Background
The project involves upgrades to the mechanical system controls at Woods Edge, located at 1501 E Milham Ave, Portage, MI.
The owner of the project is KRESA (Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency), which aims to enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of its facilities through these upgrades.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform the following tasks:
1. Patch walls at reworked thermostats as required.
2. Remove and reinstall ceilings as necessary for new work throughout the space.
3. Balance existing grilles to indicated CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute).
4. Update existing VAV (Variable Air Volume) controls and other mechanical controls as specified in the drawings.
5. Install all necessary piping, valves, traps, gauges, and controls in accordance with state and local codes.
6. Ensure that all equipment is coordinated with other trades involved in the project.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to be issued for bidding on September 16, 2024.
