Background
The Troy School District is seeking proposals for the Smith Middle School Traffic Improvements project, specifically focusing on enhancements along Livernois. The goal of this contract is to improve traffic flow and safety in the vicinity of Smith Middle School, aligning with the district's mission to provide a safe and conducive learning environment for students.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following services:

1) Conducting a comprehensive assessment of current traffic patterns around Smith Middle School;

2) Designing improvements to traffic flow, including signage, road markings, and potential structural modifications;

3) Implementing the approved design plans;

4) Coordinating with local authorities to ensure compliance with municipal regulations;

5) Providing regular updates to the Troy School District throughout the project duration.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by October 21st, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Smith Middle School located at Livernois, Troy, MI.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must include a 5% bid bond or certified check with their proposal. Additionally, each bid must be accompanied by:

- A sworn and notarized criminal background affidavit;
- A sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder's owner or employees and any member of the Board of Education or Superintendent;
- A sworn and notarized Iran Disclosure Statement.

Bids that do not include these documents will not be accepted.
