(IQC) ST -000-250-003 - Installing 2 Single Port, 48 Amps, and 2 Single Port 80 Amps Non-Networked

Background
The State of Maryland, through its Department of General Services, is issuing this solicitation for the installation of two single-port, 48 Amp and two single-port, 80 Amp non-networked Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. This initiative aims to enhance infrastructure for electric vehicles as part of the Indefinite Quantity Contract to Provide General Construction & Related Services. The project specifically targets small business enterprises certified by the Governor’s Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs (GOSBA).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing:
- 2 Single-Port, 48 Amp EV Charging Stations
- 2 Single-Port, 80 Amp EV Charging Stations
- Related infrastructure necessary for the operation of these charging stations.

The work must comply with all applicable regulations and standards as outlined in the contract documents. The project classification is categorized as 'B', indicating an estimated cost between $100,000 and $500,000.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within 365 calendar days from the start date specified in the notice to proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at designated locations within the Central Region of Maryland as specified in the contract documents.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified small business vendors under the Small Business Reserve Program. They are required to submit a completed Bid Bond Form if their bid exceeds $100,000. Additionally, bidders must provide Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) documentation and a Payment of Employee Health Care Expenses Certification.

All bids must be submitted electronically through eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA).
