Background
The Board of Education of Frederick County, Maryland, is issuing this solicitation to qualify and select a maximum of two licensed abatement contractors.
The mission is to perform abatement of hazardous materials and related demolition services on an indefinite quantity basis across various facilities. The goal is to ensure safe and compliant removal of hazardous materials in approximately 67 FCPS buildings.
Work Details
Contractors will be required to provide abatement services for hazardous materials, which may include but are not limited to asbestos, lead, and other toxic substances.
The scope includes the potential for multiple projects at different facilities simultaneously. Replacement of floor tiles, insulation, and similar tasks will be handled by other contractors unless specified as part of a particular project.
Period of Performance
