Affordable Housing Consultant Services

Background
The Town of Belmont, Massachusetts is seeking Affordable Housing Consultant Services to ensure compliance with local and State requirements, and for other related housing administrative purposes. The services are expected to be provided for an initial term of one year, beginning July 22, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025, with renewals on a three-year term based on mutual agreement.

Work Details
The consultant is expected to provide various services including coordinating projects with the WestMetro HOME consortium, monitoring use of HOME funds in Belmont, reviewing and updating the database of all the Town’s Subsidized Housing Inventory (SHI) units, providing oversight on behalf of the Town for the resale of Affordable For-Sale Units, serving as a point of contact for general inquiries related to Affordable Housing options or resources, identifying Affordable Housing compliance violations, preparing and submitting annual reports and documentation to the State as required, and completing or assisting in the completion of Affordable Housing-related grant applications.

Period of Performance
The services are expected to be provided for an initial term of one year, beginning July 22, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025,
with renewals on a three-year term based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the Town of Belmont, Massachusetts.
