*Rebid* Security Glass Replacement - DOC

Background
This solicitation is issued by the Louisiana Department of Corrections for the purpose of replacing security glass at the Allen Correctional Center located at 3751 Lauderdale Woodyard Road, Kinder, LA 70648. The goal is to ensure the facility maintains safety and security standards through the replacement of broken window glass in existing frames.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to remove and replace broken window glass in the existing frames for the Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC) as per Attachment C - Specifications.

The contract includes a jobsite visit requirement prior to bid submission. Bidders must submit a completed Jobsite Verification Form or a signed letter from an agency representative confirming their visit.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will be performed over a specified period as determined by the contractor's proposal and acceptance by the state.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the DOC Allen Correctional Center, 3751 Lauderdale Woodyard Road, Kinder, LA 70648.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a valid Contractor's License Number in appropriate classifications such as Building Construction and/or Glass, Glazing.

A jobsite visit is mandatory prior to bid submission. Bids must include a bid security amounting to 5% of the total bid amount for projects over $50,000. Vendors must be registered in the LaGov vendor system to submit bids.
