Huey P. Long Bridge Deck Truss - Floor System and Truss Lateral Repairs

Work Requested:
The New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Commission for the Port of New Orleans (NOPB) is seeking bids for the Huey P. Long Bridge Deck Truss Floor System and Truss Lateral Repairs (the Project ). The scope of work includes:

• Repairs to the floor system of the deck truss
• Repairs to the truss lateral components

All work must be performed in accordance with the General Conditions, Special Conditions, and Drawings provided, and is subject to the terms and conditions of the attached Agreement.

Requesting Entity:
The solicitation is issued by the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Commission for the Port of New Orleans (NOPB).

Background:
This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is for the repair of the Huey P. Long Bridge's deck truss floor system and truss lateral elements. The Project is governed by the General Conditions, Special Conditions, and Drawings attached to the solicitation, as well as the terms and conditions in the form agreement.

Contract Requirements:

• All work must adhere to the General and Special Conditions, and the provided Drawings.
• Compliance with all terms and conditions in the attached Agreement is mandatory.

Additional Information:
A pre-bid conference will be held in person on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. C.S.T. at 940 Central Ave, Metairie, LA 70001, followed by a site visit. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend.
