DOTD Contract Traffic Signal Head Assy

Background
The Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) of the State of Louisiana is issuing this solicitation for an annual contract to furnish Traffic Signal Head Assemblies and Backplates. The goal of this contract is to provide essential traffic signal components that meet the specifications outlined in TCS No. 1, Revised 3/31/25, ensuring safety and efficiency in traffic management.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following items:

1. 45 units of 1-section standard aluminum or polycarbonate traffic signal head assembly, including one cap visor with installation hardware and one six-position terminal block.

2. 300 units of 3-section standard aluminum or polycarbonate traffic signal head assembly, each section must include one cap visor with installation hardware and one six-position terminal block.

3. 55 units of 4-section vertical standard aluminum or polycarbonate traffic signal head assembly, each section must include one cap visor with installation hardware and one six-position terminal block.

4. 15 units of 4-section cluster standard aluminum or polycarbonate traffic signal head assembly, each section must include one cap visor with installation hardware and one six-position terminal block.

5. 65 units of 5-section cluster standard aluminum or polycarbonate traffic signal head assembly, each section must include one cap visor with installation hardware and one six-position terminal block.

6. 250 units of louvered backplate for a 3-section signal, including stainless steel machine screws and/or non-corrosive installation hardware, with retroreflective sheeting approved from the AML for reflective sheeting, Type VIII or Type XI.

7. 50 units of louvered backplate for a 4-section vertical signal, same specifications as above.

8. 15 units of louvered backplate for a 4-section cluster signal, same specifications as above.

9. 55 units of louvered backplate for a 5-section cluster signal, same specifications as above.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of twelve (12) months beginning from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to specified locations within the State of Louisiana as determined by the Department.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in LAPAC prior to bid submission. All corporations and limited liability companies must be registered and in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State to hold a purchase order or contract over $25,000.
