Background
The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans is soliciting bids for the purchase of an Asphalt Truck. This contract aims to enhance the Board's operational capabilities in managing asphalt for various projects, aligning with their mission to provide efficient sewerage and water services.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of one (1) 6-ton hot mix asphalt truck with specific technical specifications:

- Truck Capacity: 12,000 lbs. (6-ton hot mix asphalt)
- Truck Chassis: Class 6 diesel
- Hopper Construction: Triple-wall insulated with air-jacketed floor and walls for even heating, made from 10 GA HR steel.
- Heating System: Diesel-fired burner (150K or more BTU), oil-jacketed or air-jacketed system with thermostat controls, and electric overnight heat option.
- Discharge: Hydraulic rear doors with a folding shovel pan and a 6-inch hardened steel auger with hydraulic drive.
- Controls: Electric-over-hydraulic, automatic temperature controls, 24-hour timer, and safety features.
- Exhaust: Recirculating exhaust to save fuel and heat.
- Compartments: Tack-wand, tool compartments, and clean-out system.
- Temperature Maintenance: Can maintain temperature for 24-48 hours without scorching.
- Warranty: Manufacturer warranty required; extended warranty options should be provided.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin upon signing and will cover one (1) year, with immediate shipment requirements upon execution of the contract.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans located at 625 St. Joseph St., New Orleans, Louisiana 70165.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with City Code Section 2-8 (c) for the City of New Orleans regarding felony convictions. All bids must include required attachments such as the cover sheet, bid forms, equipment specifications, manufacturer warranty details, and any extended warranty options.
