FY25 Downtown Power Washing of Sidewalks

Background
The City of Bloomington, Illinois is seeking power washing services for a portion of the downtown sidewalks. The City is located in the heart of Central Illinois and is a home rule unit of government under the 1970 Illinois Constitution. The City has a population of 76,610 citizens and is the County Seat of McLean County.

Work Details
The scope of work includes power washing services for specific sections of downtown sidewalks, including removal of dirt, stains, human and animal waste stains, food waste stains, graffiti, gum, and other substances. The contractor must provide their own source of water for washing and reclaim all power wash water. Sidewalks shall be washed with a high-pressure washer (2,000 psi minimum) capable of attaining a minimum temperature of 160 degrees. The work must be completed by April 21, 2024, and the quality will be evaluated within five business days after completion.

Period of Performance
The work needs to be completed by the end of day on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in downtown Bloomington, Illinois.
