School Nutrition Dishwasher Replacement

Background
The Cherokee County School District (CCSD) is seeking proposals for the replacement and installation of a commercial dishwasher for its School Nutrition Department, specifically for Macedonia Elementary School. This project aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the school's food service operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a complete turn-key solution that includes:

- Disconnecting the existing booster heater.
- Removing the old dishwasher and disposing of it properly.
- Receiving, uncrating, delivering, and installing a new dishwasher (preferably Champion brand or an equivalent).
- Modifying existing dish tables to accommodate the new dishwasher (including welding, sanding, buffing, and polishing).
- Installing a stainless steel backsplash over the rinse sink/dirty dish table.
- Completing all necessary electrical, plumbing, and venting components and connections.
- Hauling away any debris from the installation process.

The equipment must be capable of handling standard sheet pan dimensions (18 x 26 inches). Proposals must include a project timeline with order processing and lead times for delivery and installation. Warranty information is required, including one year on workmanship and 30 months total on equipment. The contractor must also provide training on equipment use at each facility.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last from May 28, 2026, to June 26, 2026.

Place of Performance
Macedonia Elementary School within the Cherokee County School District.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must submit a current Certificate of Insurance with their proposal. They are required to maintain specified insurance limits within five business days of award. All proposers must refrain from contacting CCSD Board members or employees regarding this RFP outside of designated procurement channels. Proposals will be evaluated based on:

- Price (35 points)
- Approach/scope of services (25 points)
- Project timeline (20 points)
- Experience/past performance (20 points).
