RFP 25-607 Computer Device Repair and Insurance Services

Background
DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is a metropolitan Atlanta public school system dedicated to providing quality education to over 92,000 students. The district is seeking qualified vendors to submit proposals for computer device repair and insurance services.

The goal is to establish a turnkey solution that includes repairs, replacement of lost or stolen devices, extended warranties, and coverage for accidental damage. This initiative aims to enhance the technological support available to students and staff across its numerous educational facilities.

Work Details
The awarded vendor will provide a comprehensive range of services including:
- Repair services for various computer devices used within the district.
- Replacement services for lost or stolen devices.
- Extended warranty coverage for devices beyond standard manufacturer warranties.
- Insurance against accidental damage to devices.

All necessary labor, materials, tools, specialized equipment, supplies, trained personnel, insurance, travel costs, and administrative expenses required to fulfill these services must be included without any additional charges.

Period of Performance
The initial contract duration will be one year from the final execution date of both parties, with services expected to commence around June 2025. The contract may include four one-year extension options contingent upon mutual agreement and approval from the DeKalb County Board of Education.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the DeKalb County School District in Georgia.
