Background
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) operates the ninth largest transit system in North America, providing bus, rail, and paratransit services in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area. MARTA transports over 500,000 people daily in the City of Atlanta and surrounding counties.

The Cleveland Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway Arterial Rapid Transit (ART) project aims to enhance transit access and improve travel times through a rapid bus service utilizing existing roadway infrastructure with limited stops and enhanced station amenities.

Work Details
MARTA is seeking bids from firms to provide construction services for the Cleveland Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway ART project. This includes installing new shelters, kiosks, and benches; constructing graded slopes and retaining walls; and performing other related work as specified in the contract documents.

The Office of Capital Programs Delivery will administer the contract if awarded.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed from the date of award until completion, with specific timelines outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed along Cleveland Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway in Atlanta, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act by submitting a Contractor Affidavit with proof of registration in the E-Verify program. They must also demonstrate that they are authorized to conduct business in Georgia and possess all necessary licenses. A minimum of 25% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation is required.
