Generators RFP 2025

Background
Lowndes County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to supply, deliver, install, and commission diesel generator sets at five locations. This equipment will serve as an emergency standby power source to ensure uninterrupted operations for critical infrastructure. The goal of the contract is to provide reliable power solutions that comply with industry standards and local regulations.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing generator sets at each of the five locations, which include:

1) Pruitt Health Crestwood - 200kW standby generator;
2) Pruitt Health Holly Hill - 150kW standby generator;
3) Pruitt Health Lakehaven - 150kW standby generator;
4) Pruitt Health Valdosta - 20kW standby generator;
5) Pruitt Health Parkwood - 250kW standby generator.

Each installation includes a fuel tank, automatic transfer switch, weather-protective enclosure, and all necessary site preparation. Additional services include project management, delivery, offloading, installation, start-up testing (including a 2-hour resistive load bank test), operator training, and provision of operation and maintenance manuals. All work must comply with applicable NFPA, EPA, and local regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified timeframe following the award of the contract. Detailed timelines will be provided by the vendor in their proposal.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at five locations in Valdosta, GA:

- Pruitt Health Crestwood (415 Pendleton Place)
- Pruitt Health Holly Hill (413 Pendleton Place)
- Pruitt Health Lakehaven (410 Northside Drive)
- Pruitt Health Valdosta (2501 N Ashley Street)
- Pruitt Health Parkwood (1501 N Lee Street).

Bidder Requirements
All vendors must attend a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting on June 2, 2025. Proposals must include a company profile, relevant experience, detailed technical specifications of the proposed generator set and associated equipment, installation process description and timeline, warranty details, cost breakdown including all components and applicable taxes/fees, and references from similar projects.
