Construction of Pedestrian Crossing

Background
The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is issuing this Request for Quotes (eRFQ) on behalf of Columbus Technical College (CTC) to establish a one-time service contract for the construction of a pedestrian crossing at the Columbus Campus located at 1045 Manchester Expressway, Columbus, GA 31904.

The goal of this contract is to enhance campus safety by providing a designated pedestrian crossing.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to construct a pedestrian crossing as specified in the project manual.

This includes adhering to all drawings, plans, specifications, and addenda provided by TCSG. The work must comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing construction projects in Georgia.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence within ten (10) days after the issuance of the proceed order by the Owner and must achieve material completion within sixty (60) days from that date.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at Columbus Technical College, located at 1045 Manchester Expressway, Columbus, GA 31904.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess valid licenses to operate in Georgia and comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act by submitting an E-Verify Affidavit.

Additionally, bidders are encouraged to utilize Georgia products and employ Georgia residents where possible. A bid bond equal to 5% of the base bid amount is required. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference on February 16, 2026, is also required for eligibility.
