Commercial Garbage Services

Background
The White County Board of Commissioners is seeking quotes for front load commercial garbage services, specifically dumpster rental and pickup, at various county facilities. This initiative aims to ensure efficient waste management across the county as part of their commitment to maintaining cleanliness and public health. The contract will last for one year, beginning on April 1, 2026, and ending on March 31, 2027.

Work Details
The contractor will provide front load commercial garbage services including the rental and regular pickup of dumpsters at 18 designated locations throughout White County. The dumpsters must be in excellent condition and require regular maintenance, including repairs or replacements as necessary.

The specific locations and sizes of the dumpsters are detailed in Appendix B, which includes:
- Various sizes (2 Yard, 4 Yard, 6 Yard, 8 Yard) at multiple sites such as fire stations, parks, the courthouse, detention center, health department, library, and more.
- Pickup schedules vary from once weekly to twice weekly depending on the location.
- The contractor must include all applicable fees in their quotes and outline procedures for missed pickups.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a one-year period starting from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within White County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a current Certificate of Insurance demonstrating general liability and worker’s compensation coverage. An E-Verify compliance is also required. White County is sales tax exempt; a Sales Tax Exempt Certificate will be provided to the awarded vendor. Bidders must comply with all relevant Federal, State, and Local regulations.
