Bell 205A 1++ Helicopter (Used)

Background
The Georgia Forestry Commission is seeking to purchase one (1) medium type 2 helicopter, specifically a Bell 205A1++, for the purpose of Wildland Firefighting in the state of Georgia.
This procurement aims to enhance the agency's capabilities in managing and combating wildfires effectively.

Work Details
The contract involves providing a Bell 205A1++ medium helicopter that meets the following specifications:
- Manufacturer: Bell
- Model: 205A1++
- Airframe must have less than or equal to 10,000 hours TTAF (preferred less than or equal to 8,000 hours TTAF).
- Powerplant must have greater than or equal to 1,500 hours until major overhaul (preferred greater than or equal to 2,500 hours).
- New main rotor blades and tail rotor blades.
- All ADs must be within compliance and no damage history (NDH).
- Powerplant should be a Lycoming T53-17B engine.

Avionics must include:
- Garmin GMA350C Audio Panel
- Garmin GTN750Xi GPS/Nav/Com/MFD
- Garmin GTN650 GPS/Nav/Com/MFD
- Garmin GTX345R Transponder
- Garmin GRA55 Rad-Alt and GDL69 Sirius XM Weather with music. Additionally, Lemo plugs must be installed at pilot and crew positions while maintaining standard “single prong” helicopter plugs intact. The provider is also required to install a customer-provided L3 Harris XL 200M P25 mobile radio and provide a full Aircraft NVG STC from Aerodynamix for Bell 205.

Period of Performance
