Background
The Toombs County Board of Education (TCBOE) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the procurement of Chrome OS and Windows devices to enhance educational technology within the district. The goal is to acquire approximately 3,500 Chrome OS devices and 200 Windows devices, focusing on specifications, pricing, service, and vendor experience requirements.
Work Details
The awarded vendor(s) will provide:
- Approximately 3,500 Chrome OS Devices and approximately 200 Windows Devices.
- Multiple device models and configurations with competitive educational pricing.
- Warranty options including accidental damage protection (ADP).
- Delivery and deployment services (if offered).
**Device Requirements:**
1. **Chrome OS Devices:**
- Chromebook Solution: Minimum 8 GB RAM, Touchscreen display, Education-ready rugged design preferred, Minimum 32 GB storage.
- Chromebox Solution: Desktop device suitable for lab/classroom use.
2. **Windows Devices:**
- Windows Clamshell Laptop: Touchscreen laptop with Intel Core Ultra 5 or higher, Minimum 16 GB RAM, Minimum 256 GB SSD storage.
- Windows 2-in-1 Device: Touchscreen convertible with Intel Core Ultra 5 or higher.
- Desktop Configurations: Standard office desktop options including monitors and display cables.
**Warranty & ADP Requirements:**
- Extended warranty options of 4-year and 5-year must be quoted for all device categories.
**White Glove Service Requirements:**
- Deployment services ensuring devices are ready for immediate use including asset tagging and inventory documentation.
Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to begin after the award notification between February 20, 2026, and February 28, 2026, with an expected delivery window before June 1, 2026.
Place of Performance
The geographic location for the performance of this contract is Toombs County Board of Education facilities.
