Background
The School Board of Monroe County, Florida is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a professional services contract for Standby Contract for Disaster Recovery Services. Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive emergency disaster recovery services, which include but are not limited to:

- 24/7 response capability
- Physical surveys to evaluate damages
- Digital documentation of work progress
- Itemized estimates of damages
- Stabilization of environments to prevent mold growth
- Removal of standing water
- Restoration and cleaning of HVAC systems
- Security measures to protect sites from theft or vandalism.

Period of Performance
The contract will be activated upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed following a disaster event and will remain in effect as needed based on the requirements set forth by the School Board.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Monroe County School District in Florida.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed to operate in Florida with specialties in non-hazardous and hazardous waste treatment and removal. They must submit proof of licensing with their proposal. Additionally, bidders must have no debarment history with federal or state agencies and must comply with all insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability, Automotive Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Professional Liability insurance with specified minimum limits.
