Background
The Collier County Operations & Performance Management Division has issued an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) with the intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified vendors in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications stated or attached. The Immokalee Regional Airport (IMM) is situated on 1,333 acres of land located approximately 35 miles northeast of Naples, FL and 110 miles northwest of the Port of Miami. It provides tremendous business advantages and has two asphalt paved runways. The Airport resides within a designated HUB Empowerment Zone and a 60-acre zone in and around the Airport is a designated Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).
Work Details
The Collier County Airport Authority is soliciting proposals from any proposer(s) interested in leasing all developable vacant property located at the Immokalee Regional Airport. The available property encompasses approximately 500 acres of aeronautical and non-aeronautical land. The sites are offered in 'as is' condition, and the awarded proposer(s) shall be entirely responsible for the design, permitting, site preparation, construction, and construction of adjacent pavement infrastructure needed to accommodate their facility or facilities. The proposer(s) must comply with all applicable federal, state, local rules and regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards for aeronautical use as outlined within the County’s Airport Layout Plan.
Period of Performance
The contract term is intended to not exceed forty (40) years.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Immokalee Regional Airport.
