RFP - On-Call Construction Management

Background
The San Bernardino County, Department of Public Works (County) and San Bernardino County Flood Control District (District) are seeking Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers to provide professional services for construction project management. The number of awards will be determined by the quality of the proposals received. The contract period will be for a maximum of five (5) years beginning in approximately April 2024, and ending in approximately March 2029.
The location(s) where services are to be provided, completed, and managed are various locations within the jurisdictional boundaries of San Bernardino County.

Work Details
The selected Proposers shall provide complete construction project management services for various County projects, including those administered by the Contracts Division, Transportation, and District. In providing such services, any of the selected Proposers may be requested by the County or District to provide services at the County and/or District offices and facilities and work with County or District staff as needed.
The Transportation projects include the construction of improvements on streets, highways, sidewalks, curb & gutters, bridges, overpasses, walkways and related transportation construction. The District projects consist of improvements to channels, basins, dams, storm drains, and other related flood control construction. The Proposer shall perform a wide range of duties including pre-advertise/pre-award activities, construction inspection, contract change order documentation and approval procedures, claims administration, labor compliance tasks, health and safety enforcement, progress payments processing, post-construction services such as project closeout and final construction report preparation.

Period of Performance
The Contract period will be for a maximum of five (5) years beginning in approximately April 2024, and ending in approximately March 2029.

The location(s) where Services are to be provided, completed, and managed are various locations within the jurisdictional boundaries of San Bernardino County.
