Request for Proposals for Airport Vending Concession Opportunities (Non-exclusive) at Fresno Yosemite International Airport and Fresno Chandler Executive Airport

Background
The City of Fresno Airports Department is seeking proposals for Airport Vending Concession Opportunities at Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) and Fresno Chandler Executive Airport (FCH). The goal is to provide Standard and/or Specialty Vending Machine Services that cater to the needs of the traveling public. This initiative aims to enhance the customer experience at both airports by offering a variety of products and services.

Work Details
Proposers are required to provide vending machine services that include the sale of permitted food, beverages, or specialty items as outlined in their proposals. The vending units must be operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout the year.

The first-year space rent is set at $43.60 per square foot with annual CPI adjustments starting in year two. Additionally, a percentage rent rate of 10% of sales is applicable, with specific goals for ACDBE and DBE participation outlined in the RFP. Proposals must detail the type of vending services offered and comply with all specifications provided in the RFP.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last for several years, with specific terms detailed in the final agreement. Proposals must be submitted electronically by March 10, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) and Fresno Chandler Executive Airport (FCH), located in Fresno, California.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must possess a current City of Fresno Business License prior to receiving a Notice to Proceed for work. They are encouraged to seek out small business enterprises for subcontracting opportunities. Compliance with federal, state, and local laws is mandatory, including adherence to accessibility requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
