Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid California contractor’s license classified as C-53 (Swimming Pool Contractor) and must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to perform public work under Labor Code § 1725.5.
Additionally, bidders are required to submit a bid security amounting to ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid amount in either cashier’s check or certified check form.
The successful bidder will also need to provide performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price.
