On-Call and Emergency Water and Asphalt Concrete Construction Services

Background
The City of San Buenaventura is issuing Request for Proposal No. P-130000807 for On-Call and Emergency Water and Asphalt Concrete Construction Services.
The goal of this contract is to ensure that qualified contractors are available to provide timely responses to water utility-related emergencies, thereby supporting the city's infrastructure and public safety.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor and construction services including but not limited to:
- Water main line and service line installation and repair
- Water valve stack covers repair and/or rehabilitation (i.e., installing, raising, etc.)
- Valve stack installation and/or repair
- Asphalt repair/replacement around affected work area
- Curb and gutter repair around affected work area.
Additionally, the contractor must be available 24/7 for emergency responses, capable of arriving on-site within one hour of notification.
Required equipment includes dump trucks, backhoes, combination jetter/vacuum trucks, asphalt rollers, excavators, utility trucks, water trucks, dewatering equipment, and asphalt pavers.
The contractor is responsible for all debris cleanup during operations and must comply with safety regulations as per CAL-OSHA standards.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the agreement will commence on July 1, 2025, for a period of one year.
The City may opt to renew the agreement for up to four additional one-year increments, with a total duration not exceeding five years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the City of San Buenaventura.
