NIB-Supply of 2026 Ford Police Interceptor Utility AWD

Background
The City of Redwood City, California, through its Fleet and Equipment Services Division, is issuing a Notice Inviting Sealed Bids (NIB) for the supply of six (6) 2026 Ford Police Interceptor Utility AWD vehicles. The intent of this contract is to procure new, unused vehicles that meet specified requirements for the city's police department.

The contract involves supplying six (6) 2026 Ford Police Interceptor Utility AWD vehicles. Each vehicle must be a new model year 2026 and include the following specifications:

Additional equipment includes various lighting solutions, ballistic door panels, sirens, and other police-specific features. Each vehicle must come with four ignition/door keys and a complete set of vehicle manuals.

Period of Performance
The bid release date is April 7, 2026, with bids due by April 21, 2026. The successful bidder must specify the maximum number of days until delivery to Redwood City after receiving the purchase order.

Place of Performance
The vehicles are to be delivered to the City of Redwood City Fleet Division located at 1400 Broadway Street, Redwood City, CA 94063.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure that all vehicles are new and unused current production models. They are required to provide a warranty of three years or 36,000 miles bumper-to-bumper and five years or 100,000 miles for powertrain care. Additionally, a certified warranty repair dealership must be located within a 30-mile radius of the delivery address.
