The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #08A3959 for Pest Control Services in San Bernardino County. - Gnats
- Centipedes
- Millipedes
- Fleas
- Lice
- Silverfish
- Cluster flies
- Spiders
- Ants
- Pigeon control.
The services will be performed at multiple Caltrans Maintenance Stations within San Bernardino County including:
- Barstow MS (15,500 sq ft)
- Beecher’s Corner MS (9,352 sq ft)
- Burnt Mill MS (15,150 sq ft)
- Cajon MS (17,100 sq ft)
- Camp Angelus MS (11,010 sq ft)
- Blythe MS (11,390 sq ft)
- Dry Creek MS (11,090 sq ft)
- Essex MS & Employee Housing Units (8,950 sq ft)
- Fawnskin MS (12,060 sq ft)
- Mountain Pass MS & Housing Units (7,701 sq ft)
- Needles MS (7,500 sq ft)
- Victorville MS (7,758 sq ft).
Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on July 1, 2026 and will expire on June 30, 2029.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within San Bernardino County including Barstow Maintenance Station and others listed above.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with the California Department of Consumer Affairs' Structural Pest Control Board. Employees/subcontractors must possess a current Field Representative or Operator license issued by the SPCB. At least one staff member must hold a Qualified Applicator License or Certificate with the California Department of Pesticide Regulation. Bidders must also meet DVBE participation requirements of 3% and commit to subcontracting at least 25% of their net price to certified small businesses or micro businesses.
