Computer & Printer Rentals (DGS-OTA)

Background
The State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Procurement Division is conducting a Request for Quote (RFQ) for IT services to support the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA).
The CSSSA aims to provide pre-professional training to approximately 500 gifted high school students each summer. This contract is intended to fulfill the need for computer and printer rentals necessary for various classrooms during the summer sessions.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all printers, computers, accessories, equipment, supplies, materials, and labor needed to set up computer labs for CSSSA’s annual summer school sessions. Specific requirements include:
1. Rental of Eighty-Eight (88) Apple iMacs with minimum specifications including 21" display size, Intel 6th Gen processor or equivalent, 16GB RAM, and 500GB SSD.
2. Rental of Eight (8) additional Apple iMacs with similar specifications but with 8GB RAM and 250GB SSD.
3. Rental of Ninety-Six (96) Keyboards and Mouses.
4. Rental of Eight (8) multifunction printers capable of printing, copying, scanning, and faxing with specified functionalities.
5. Rental of one (1) high-speed multifunction printer with advanced features.
6. Supply of compatible ink cartridges for each printer provided.
7. Provision of all necessary accessories such as extension cords and routers.
8. Labor for setup, configuration of printers, installation of software on computers, teardown, and pickup.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on June 1, 2025, and end on May 31, 2026.
Equipment rental is required for up to 51 days between June 12, 2025, and August 01, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the California Institute of the Arts located at 24700 McBean Parkway Valencia, California 91355 or another location designated by the CSSSA Contract Manager.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including providing a Seller’s Permit number and Secretary of State certification if applicable.
Bidders are also required to submit a Bidder Declaration Form identifying all subcontractors proposed for participation in the contract. Additionally, bidders must adhere to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) program requirements if applicable.
