Citywide As Needed Commercial Door Maintenance and Repair Services

Background
The City of Corona Utilities Department is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for Commercial Door Maintenance and Repair As-needed Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of commercial door systems through comprehensive maintenance, repair, and related support. The contractor must hold a current C-61 Limited Specialty/D28 Door, Gates, and Activating Devices license.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary for commercial door maintenance and repair. Services include:

1) Preventative maintenance and inspection services occurring biannually;
2) Emergency repair services for urgent issues;
3) Routine maintenance including adjustments and component replacements.

Specific items covered include commercial door hardware, locks (including Cyber Locks), curtain doors, roll-up doors, panic bars, mag locks, self-closers, fire roll-down doors, and ADA compliance checks.

Period of Performance
The contract term will be effective from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028 on an as-needed basis with optional two-year renewal terms available thereafter.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Corona.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must possess a valid C-61/D28 license and ensure that all services are performed by Journeyman-level personnel experienced with Schlage, Cyber, and Von Duprin locks. Contractors must comply with California Prevailing Wage Laws and provide certified payroll records. Additionally, contractors must disclose any significant prior or ongoing contract failures or legal issues.
