C5612633-D - Delancey Street Hood And Duct Cleaning Services

Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) C5612633-D for Hood and Duct Cleaning Services at the Delancey Street Kitchen located within the California State Prison, Solano (SOL).
The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of kitchen equipment by maintaining cleanliness in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide Hood and Duct Cleaning Services which include: inspection, preventative maintenance cleaning, and deep cleaning of hoods, fans, ducts, and other appurtenances.
Services must cover the entire length of each exhaust system from the plenum area through ductwork to the roof.
Cleaning must comply with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 96 standards and other relevant codes.
The Contractor will be compensated based on rates specified in Exhibit B-1, which includes all labor, materials, transportation, tools, permits, licenses, taxes, and any other necessary expenses.
Services are to be performed during regular business hours unless otherwise agreed upon.
The Contractor must report to the Institution Contract Liaison upon arrival and complete a Service Report after each service for payment processing.

Period of Performance
The anticipated date for commencement of services is July 1, 2025, or upon approval.
The term of the Agreement will end on June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Delancey Street Kitchen within California State Prison, Solano (SOL).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Government Code 14838 requiring a minimum of 25% Small Business participation.
Bidders are encouraged to utilize certified Small Businesses and Micro Businesses.
Additionally, bidders must possess a valid California Contractors State License Board 'C-20' license for Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Contractor.
