Background
The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) - Metropolitan is seeking bids for a contractor to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for Aladdin food carts and docking stations. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of approximately 166 Aladdin Food Carts Model #CRPDPO2100 and 64 Docking Stations utilized by the DSH Metropolitan Nutrition Services department. The contractor must provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, and personnel for these services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis for the following:
1. Preventive equipment maintenance and service for approximately 166 Aladdin Food Carts Model #CRPDPO2100.
2. Preventive maintenance and repair services for 64 Docking Stations.
3. All services must be conducted by trained service agents knowledgeable in Aladdin Temp-Rite maintenance practices and repairs to this specialized system.
4. The contractor must adhere to security provisions when performing work on state hospital grounds.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the agreement is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the DSH - Metropolitan Nutrition Services department located at 11401 S Bloomfield Avenue, Norwalk, CA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements:
1. Provide proof of legal right to do business in California including a valid business license and any DBA documentation.
2. Submit three references from customers for similar services provided within the last two years, including at least one governmental entity reference.
3. Certify understanding of insurance requirements as outlined in Attachment 13 of the solicitation document.
4. Provide valid written evidence of training from Aladdin Temp-Rite LLC regarding service capabilities at DSH.
5. Hold a current Contractors State License (C-10 Electrical Contractor) issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
