Sampling Bottles, Vials and Related Items for Tucson Water Quality Lab

Background
The City of Tucson is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 260155 for the procurement of sampling bottles, vials, and related items for the Tucson Water Quality Lab. The purpose of this contract is to ensure compliance with drinking water sampling requirements and to provide necessary materials for discretionary testing.

Work Details
The contract involves the establishment of an annual blanket purchase order to supply various types of sampling bottles and vials, including:
1. 40 mL clear borosilicate glass vials with Low Bleed septa (3600 total).
2. 40 mL clear borosilicate glass vials with 0.5 ml HCl (3600 total).
3. 40 mL amber borosilicate glass vials (7200 total).
4. 125 mL HDPE round plastic bottles with LDPE-lined closure (1440 total).
5. 250 mL HDPE round plastic bottles with LDPE-lined closure (2880 total).
6. 500 mL HDPE round plastic bottles with LDPE-lined closure (1200 total).
7. 1000 mL HDPE oblong plastic bottles with wide mouth liner-less leak-proof closure (720 total).

Additional specifications include pre-cleaning per U.S. EPA guidelines, laser-printable labels, delivery requirements, and immediate replacement of any broken glassware at no charge.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will remain in effect for one year, with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the Tucson Water Quality Lab located at 255 W Alameda St, Tucson, AZ 85701.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register with the City’s Business Services Department and obtain a City of Tucson Business License if required. They must also comply with insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability and Workers' Compensation policies as specified in the solicitation.
