EN 26-025 Phase VI Old Town Las Ligas ADA Sidewalks

Background
The City of Avondale is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the EN 26-025 Phase VI Old Town Las Ligas ADA Sidewalks project. The project aims to enhance accessibility by replacing existing ramps and sidewalks with new ADA-compliant ramps and sidewalks. The City seeks a qualified Class A General Civil Licensed Contractor to perform the work and provide materials as specified in the attached documents.

Work Details
The work includes the replacement of existing ramps and sidewalks with new ADA ramps and sidewalks. The contractor is responsible for water and dust control, which are considered incidental to the project. Site monitoring protocols and coordination are required. Prior to any ground disturbance, the contractor must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to the Project Manager, Natalie Bue. Bidders must submit bids encompassing the entire project, including related plans, specifications, construction drawings, and reference documents.

Period of Performance
The contract time for this project shall be 30 days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in the Las Ligas Neighborhood, bound by 125th Avenue on the east, Illini Street on the south, 127th Avenue on the west, and Elwood Street on the north within the Avondale Old Town area.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with the Arizona Corporation Commission and authorized to do business in Arizona. They must have a completed Vendor Registration Packet on file with the City Finance and Budget Department. Bidders should demonstrate successful completion of at least three similar projects within the past 60 months, with one project having a contract value of at least 75% of this project's total bid. A non-revocable bid security of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price is required.
