Janitorial Services for City Facilities

Requested Work:
The City of Madison, Alabama is seeking qualified contractors to provide janitorial services for two city facilities: the Community Center and the Madison Meeting Hall.

Background:
This contract is being offered to ensure the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of the Community Center and Madison Meeting Hall. The City has established prequalification procedures to ensure that only qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids.

Contract Requirements:

• Prequalification is required. Only contractors approved through the City's prequalification procedures and criteria may submit bids.
• Prequalification procedures and criteria can be downloaded from the Documents tab of this solicitation.
• The deadline for submission of prequalification documents is 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Late submissions will be rejected.
• A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for all prequalified contractors will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time in Conference Room 130 at Madison City Hall (100 Hughes Road, Madison, Alabama 35758). Attendance is required to be eligible to bid.
• A site visit will take place following the Pre-Bid Conference.
