Description

PURPOSE OF THE RFP:
The Department of Natural Resources, Trust Land Office, is soliciting proposals for a cost benefit assessment of eight already identified possible scenarios to address an aging real estate asset.

Registration must be in writing and may be made via email to blain.alfonso@alaska.gov. Failure to register with the Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office may result in rejection of your offer.

Background
The Department of Natural Resources, Trust Land Office of the State of Alaska, is seeking proposals for a cost benefit analysis of eight identified scenarios to address an aging real estate asset.
The goal is to provide a detailed summary for the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority Board of Trustees to aid in their decision-making process.

Work Details
The contractor will provide professional review and evaluation services for eight scenarios that may include repairing and renovating an existing real estate asset, constructing a new asset, or purchasing a replacement asset.
The evaluation will cover the merits and constraints of each scenario, estimated timelines for completion, associated risks, and a detailed cost benefit analysis.
Deliverables include:
1) Cost breakdown;
2) Timeline summary;
3) Customization considerations;
4) Location assessment;
5) Market condition summary;
6) Environmental impact;
7) Comprehensive cost benefit analysis.
The State will supply necessary information such as structural assessments and repair estimates.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence around February 17, 2025, and will last approximately three months, concluding around May 16, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Anchorage, Alaska. The contractor must provide their own workspace.
