The contract involves furnishing construction equipment with operators and all necessary materials, supplies, labor, transportation, fuel, power, and water to perform assigned work in accordance with specifications. Tasks include waterfowl impoundment construction, road construction and maintenance, clearing forest openings for wildlife, various forestry activities, disposal area maintenance, levee construction and maintenance of federal flood control projects in Alabama and Mississippi, clearing of fire lanes for control burning, reforestation, and agricultural plantings. Work supports the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, mobile district, in locations under the jurisdiction of the Tennessee-tombigbee waterway, okatibbee lake, and wildlife mitigation lands.
