Overview
Government Description
Advanced Contract Initiative (ACI) for Temporary Emergency Power (TEP) quadrant II provides contract service support for temporary emergency power in response to natural and man-made disasters in the United States and its territories. Includes assessing power requirements, installing, fueling, operating, maintaining, and repairing diesel-powered emergency generators (5 KW TO 3MW) at critical public facilities such as hospitals, water infrastructure, and emergency response centers in FEMA regions IV and V (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin). The contractor supports power restoration prior to, during, and following federally declared emergencies, including hurricanes, and performs readiness activities such as annual regional power mission exercise support and training for USACE. Resources, personnel, and equipment must be mobilized on site within 21-24 hours after receiving a task order or mission assignment.
