Grant Description
Application Purpose: The purpose of this award is to provide three (3) years of operating assistance to BJCTA to assist in recovering from COVID-19.
Year One (1): October 2022 - September 2023
Year Two (2): October 2023 - September 2024
Year Three (3): October 2024 - September 2025.
Activities Performed: Funds will be used to cover all eligible operating expenses such as bus operators' salaries, fuel, items having a useful life of less than one year, and PPE supplies in order to continue transit operations.
Expected Outcomes: Funding will permit BJCTA to continue to provide operations that would otherwise have to be cut due to lack of funding.
Intended Beneficiaries: BJCTA and the patrons that rely on its service will benefit from continued services, permitting workers to get to work and riders to get to essential services.
Subrecipient Activities: None.
