Grant Description
Purpose: Reconstruct runway lighting; rehabilitate runway.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project reconstructs existing runway 10L/28R lighting that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project rehabilitates 10,500 feet of existing paved and concrete runway 10L/28R to maintain the structural integrity and minimize foreign object debris to extend its useful life.
This grant funds Phase 1, which consists of design and reconstruction of lighting along 4,700 feet of runway 10L/28R.
This grant funds Phase 2, which consists of rehabilitation of 4,300 feet of asphalt shoulder.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
