Purpose: Reconstruct airfield guidance signs; rehabilitate runway lighting; rehabilitate runway.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project reconstructs 22 of the existing airfield guidance signs to meet Federal Aviation Administration standards. This project rehabilitates 5,600 feet of the existing runway 5/23 pavement to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement. This project rehabilitates the existing runway 5/23 edge lighting system that has reached the end of its useful life and requires rehabilitation to enhance safe airfield operations during low visibility conditions.
