Grant Description
Purpose: Rehabilitate taxiway lighting; install runway lighting; rehabilitate taxiway.

Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project installs modifications to the existing Runway 13/31 lighting system to meet Federal Aviation Administration design standards. This project rehabilitates 2,600 feet of the existing Taxiway B pavement to extend its useful life. Additionally, this project rehabilitates the existing Taxiway B lighting system to extend its useful life and enhance safe airfield operations during low visibility conditions. The grant funds the final phase, which consists of construction.

Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Saint Augustine, Florida.
Funding Goals
THIS GRANT PROGRAM PURPOSE IS TO FUND AIRPORT PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT (AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT) PROJECTS THAT SUPPORT LONG STANDING FAA GOALS OF SAFETY OR SECURITY, SYSTEM CAPACITY, ENVIRONMENT AND ACCESS. FAA CONSIDERS GRANTS THAT ALIGN WITH ADMINISTRATION GOALS OF SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP, INCLUDING CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABILITY, EQUITY, CREATION OF GOOD JOBS AND INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT (PER EXECUTIVE ORDERS INCLUDING EO 13166, 13985, 13988, 14005, 14008, 14025).
