Grant Description
Purpose: Reconstruct taxiway lighting; reconstruct runway lighting; construct perimeter fencing; reconstruct airport rotating beacon; rehabilitate taxiway; rehabilitate apron; reconstruct airfield drainage/erosion control; reconstruct airfield equipment; rehabilitate runway.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project constructs 1.076 feet of perimeter fencing not required by 49 CFR 1542 to bring the airport into conformity with current standards.
This project reconstructs existing runway 07/25 lighting that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project reconstructs existing taxiway A lighting that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project reconstructs existing drainage ditches and culverts to adequately handle storm water runoff that have reached the end of their useful lives.
This project rehabilitates 235 feet of existing gravel taxiway A to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement to extend its useful life.
This project rehabilitates 3300 feet of existing gravel runway 07/25 to maintain the structural integrity to extend its useful life.
This project rehabilitates 8,889 square yards of existing apron pavement to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.
This project replaces 1 existing airport rotating beacon that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project replaces the existing primary windcone and supplemental windcone that have reached the end of their useful lives.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Kokhanok, Alaska.
