Grant Description
Purpose: Reconstruct runway lighting; reconstruct taxiway lighting; rehabilitate access road; rehabilitate apron; rehabilitate taxiway; rehabilitate runway; reconstruct airfield equipment.
Activities to be performed/expected outcomes: This project rehabilitates 3,200 feet of existing gravel runway 11/29 to maintain the structural integrity to extend its useful life.
This project reconstructs existing runway 11/29 lighting that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project reconstructs existing taxiway A lighting that has reached the end of its useful life.
This project rehabilitates 1,080 feet of existing airport access road to extend its useful life.
This project rehabilitates 175 feet of existing gravel taxiway A to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement to extend its useful life.
This project rehabilitates 6,700 square yards of existing main apron pavement to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.
This project replaces the existing wind cone that has reached the end of its useful life.
Intended beneficiary: This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Buckland, Alaska.
